The Three squadron reunion for 2010 is in Wigan on Friday 15th to Sunday 17th October.
Based at the Oak Hotel, near the town centre, with good parking, we have negotiated a favourable rate of £55 per person, per night for the Friday and Saturday. This includes evening meals, breakfasts and conference facilities for the AGM and Soiree.
For those who have never been to this fair Lancashire town, you are in for a reet northern treat.
There is a lot of history from the Roman's, the King's seal in the Market place (no, not the clapping ball spinning type) to the statue of George Formby in the Grand Arcade.
For the ladies we have bags of shopping in High street and more off beat outlets. Then there's he pies to taste on Saturday lunchtime....MM. Have a look around the old Market hall and try to resist our local delicacy.
Willie and Enid have also devised a route to the centre of town which involves no walking uphill, is within minutes of the hotel and includes a gentle walk back down the bru, seeing all the sights as you pass by. Willie's also putting together a guide for your stay
We've entertainment planned for Saturday evening. A tribute to our fondest son, Georgie, a gentle game of bowls (with a twist) and coin chucking to raise money for association funds.

How to get there
By Road
Exit M61 junction 6
B5238 to
Wigan for 4 miles until traffic lights with Earl of Balcarras pub on
right.
Turn right and first left into Morris St, immediate right into Orchard St,
the Oak Hotel Wigan is on the right.
M6 exit 25
A49 to Wigan to roundabout. Follow A5238 to Bolton follow road to town centre at the 5th set of traffic lights turn right into Crompton Street and immediately left into Orchard Street. The Oak Hotel Wigan is on the left.
M6 junction 27
Follow A5209. Carry on through to Wigan until Tesco is on the right. Turn left, then immediately right into Morris Street and immediately right into Orchard Street. The Oak Hotel Wigan is on the right.
Travelling by air:
Both Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport are only 22 miles from the Oak Hotel Wigan.
Travelling by train:
